Ross & Una's Wedding Film
Ross and Una’s wedding was set at the stunning Carbis Bay Hotel, with a gorgeous couples shoot on Carbis Bay Beach. They chose our Cinematic Wedding Film and Photography package to capture their special day. We also bought along our drone to capture this amazing day from above! Who doesn’t love a sunset smoke bomb shoot on Carbis Bay Beach?!
The day starts with Una getting ready in a gorgeous house tucked away in St Ives. This stunning house has large windows looking out to sea. Bright open spaces such as this make for brilliant shots. Nothing beats natural light, and this house certainly provided that! Ross and Una live in Australia, but came back to Cornwall to have a small ceremony with their close friends and family; with Ross being from Cornwall and Una from Ireland.
The bridal prep is always special, a close knit group filled with excitement for the day. Una’s prep is no exception to this with laughter filling the house. Sentimental details are always an important part of the day, acknowledging those who cannot make this special day, yet keeping them close.
The ceremony is small yet meaningful. There is something so special about smaller ceremonies. The ceremony was set against the stunning Cornish sea, with a beautiful floral display lining the aisle. After the personal vows were exchanged along with the rings, the couple sealed their marriage with a kiss. The wedding party then moved out onto the decking. With the sun blazing and the smell of the sea air it is the perfect setting for a relaxed and casual wedding reception. Once everyone had time to relax and have a couple of drinks and canapés, we took them down to Carbis Bay Beach for some group photos.
Once the group shots were done we took Ross and Una off to a corner of the beach for a private couples shoot. We love this couples shoot. Seeing Ross and Una’s laidback attitude and just having fun makes for amazing footage and photographs. We love an opportunity to pull out the smoke bomb and drone combo.
