The Old Barn Wedding Film

What an amazing day this was, we had a blast at The Old Barn. Adam and Joanne’s wedding was jam packed so choosing our Triple Threat package was perfect to capture all of the days events. There was confetti, a Photo Booth, and even Dodgems!
We started off the day with Joanne and the bridal party and it was clear to see that they were one big family. The house was filled with laughter and everyone was talking about old memories and how excited they all were for this special day. Joanne’s dress was the centrepiece of the whole morning, with its beautiful design and stunning details. This was accentuated even further as we hung the dress in-front of a large window, allowing the natural sunlight to pour through and shine off these details.
Joanne arrived at St Johns Baptist Church in a timeless white Bentley, where Adam was waiting to meet her at the end of the aisle. The service was beautiful with hymns being sang as well as the exchange of personal vows and rings.
The service was then followed by a long confetti tunnel outside of the Church, it is clear to see how much this day meant to Adam and Joanne as well as their guests by the smiles on their faces.
Whilst the guests made their way to the reception at The Old Barn, we took Adam and Joanne for a couples shoot around the grounds of the church. We always love taking the couples off for a private shoot as they get a chance to slow down and process the day so far. We also get to capture what they are like in just the company of each other and the love really shows!
The decor at The Old Barn was a mixture of contemporary and classic elements with a large focus around autumnal colours. A standout feature was the wedding cake designed to be an HGV with Adam hanging out the window. This was a nod to Adams job as an HGV driver which he is extremely passionate about!
After the evening meal and speeches, we took Adam and Joanne away to the dodgems where we did a private couples shoot. This was the first time we had done anything like this and we absolutely loved it. You can see the results in their trailer. After this couple shoot, everyone came and joined them on the Dodgems. As part of Adam and Joanne’s wedding package we provided a Photo Booth with a selection of props which everybody absolutely loved.
It’s always a privilege to be asked to film an important day like this. Adam and Joanne were great, and their guests were fantastic fun too!
