Party Time at Pengenna Manor | Brett and Michelle’s Wedding
What a superb day Brett and Michelle’s wedding was. The chose our Triple Threat package with an added Marryoke. Brett and Michelle got married at Pengenna Manor. A historical Manor House tucked into the Cornish countryside. With its vast acres of fields and trees, coupled with the stunning house itself and outhouses, this is a brilliant venue. We had such a blast at this action packed day!
Brett and Michelle have been together for five years, and it is clear to see how much fun they have together. This day was lively from the get-go. The passion that these two have for life and their heritage was a running theme of the day. Brett being Cornish and Michelle being Welsh, the flags were dotted all around the venue. The day starts with Michelle and her bridal party getting ready in the Manor House. It is clear that this day is going to be blast from the moment we start to record the Marryoke (I Was Made For Lovin You – Kiss). As Michelle gets her hair and makeup done, Brett is getting dressed with his groomsmen. Adding the final touches to their suits, and straightening up their buttonholes. They are all laughing and joking, looking forward to the day ahead.
Brett and Michelle had a close friend of their officiate the wedding with a personal and humorous service. This was a testament to how much they enjoy life and love to have fun. With everyone in stitches they sealed their vows with a kiss, and into a confetti tunnel. We then took them off around the grounds of Pengenna Manor for a couples shoot. We are always so keen to take couples off for a private shoot. This gives them an opportunity to be with each other, away from all the attention and focus of the day. Capturing a couple relaxing, laughing and reliving the day so far makes for some amazing photographs.
As the day went on it came to the speeches. As teachers it was only fitting that the best man’s speech was a Kahoot quiz. This was brilliant to watch, and it is so rare to see all of the guests to get involved in the speeches. Moments like this are magical and we love allowing the couple to relive this through our photos and videos! After the speeches was a gorgeous sunset first dance, surrounded by all of the guests. Following this was hours of dancing and singing, with the entertainment provided by the Tregony Teachers. As night fell, we gathered the wedding party onto the front lawn and arranged a sparkler tunnel, followed by an amazing firework display!
